Jay Texter
Commercial photographer Jay Texter became a
motorhead after attending the New Hope car show at the age of ten.
A decade later, he began photographing anything on wheels.
Since then his unique automotive photography has appeared in numerous
publications, including Automobile Quarterly, Automobile,
Vintage Race Car Journal and Forza. His work has been
displayed in the National Automotive History Collection at the Detroit
Public Library and is also used to promote the Concours D' Elegance
of the Eastern United States.
An automotive prints by Jay Texter
is like a glimpse into car heaven.
Jay is known as a master of composition and detail, screening out
all distractions to create flawless images that are almost platonic
in their purity.
A deep knowledge of automobiles, developed from thirty years of
traveling to car shows and races allows Jay to find new ways of
looking at even the most familiar vintage vehicles.
Jay's fine art prints are meticulously produced by a combination
of traditional film and the latest digital printing technologies
and appeal to car lovers, art collectors and photography buffs alike.
They add elegance, drama and visual impact
to any home, office or corporate setting.
When he's not photographing on the road or working on commercial
projects in his Allentown, PA studio, Jay relaxes to the music of
Frank Zappa & T-Bone Walker.
